This is an odd pick, maybe, since it’s kind of incidental that it came out in August. I didn’t rush to buy this in August of 13 because I probably didn’t hear it for several months. But this has everything I want in great concentration music.

Downtempo hip hop mixed with a lot of interesting textures. Not ambient, but plenty of detail if you want it and plenty of groovy background if you don’t.
