High Land, Hard Rain - Aztec Camera (1983)

I call it “the Counting Crows problem” or sometimes the “Guns N Roses problem”: when you have a long career but you never top your first record. Not an expert, but I think Aztec Camera is in the same boat.

Well-recorded guitar pop somewhere between later Kinks and early Replacements.
