11th Orbit - Emancipator & Lapa (2023)
I’ve been slipping on getting time to write these things up, and it got worse while traveling the last few days. Please forgive my recent succinctness.
Emancipator (o_O) runs Loci records when he’s not touring and recording his own stuff. This also recently has extended to collaborations with various artists he’s signed to Loci.
Not knowing much about Lapa doesn’t stop me from enjoying this. It’s house-y and groovy with some great sampling.

Mamba - a great four-on-the-floor house track
Fortex Cortex - sonically expansive with wordless vocals and some far-out synth sounds
Crow Nebula - a buzzing strings edge with lots of reverb
