Muhly (o_O O_o) is a modern composer of note.
He has gotten that way by doing high-profile collabs and working on film and theater so that he’s not just “that minimialist classical guy.”
This is a workout on the idea of droning one sound underneath while more is played on top. Musicians include pianist Bruce Brubaker (o_O) and star of stage, screen, and podcast (and previous podcast) violist Nadia Sirota.
