Omnium Gatherum - King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (2022)

Gizz(o_O) is not my favorite band, really; but they are one of the most interesting bands I follow. They’re always doing something new, and they record relentlessly and release multiple albums a year.

This one is widely ranging psych and stoner rock with a healthy dose of beat music. Aside from the usual vocal fun, there’s a fair amount of backpack-style hip hop thrown in.

You can’t work at the pace these guys do if you have a thing for quality control, but their “here’s what we did this month” outlook on releasing music is refreshing.
