The Machine Air OST - Forest Swords (2019)
The Machine Air sounds like a very interesting film that I’d be interested in seeing. However, I have to remind myself that paying for a Mubi subscription swearing I was gonna watch more art films would be as doomed to failure as buying a gym membership swearing I was gonna get in better shape.
I don’t need the film to tell me how much I like Forest Swords (o_O). This one is a bit edgier than a lot of his work, with some pretty stark dissonance and crosscutting sounds to keep it from being any sort of easy listening.
As a soundtrack, it stays a bit under your conscious attention at times, but of course I kind of dig that.
