No doubt added to my list from Sioux Ritmo, the musica Mexicana station i listen to when I’m in northwest Iowa. (my usual MPR classical station I have on by default becomes Catholic talk radio when I get too far away from Sioux Falls, which is not really my thing)
I’m a little ashamed that I can better explain the differences between thrash metal and black metal than I can between Norteño and Sierreño, but here we are.
Fernandez is a tv and movie star who’s recorded a lot of music related and unrelated to his film work.
He brings a polished approach to an array of reginal sounds that I’m still working on differentiating.
